Fl-18 How does it show the Zoom?

On the new Fl-18, how does it show the bottom 6ft and the whole column? Does it show the whole area and then the zoom part or just runs right into each other or how does it work?

In the az mode, the left side of the flasher simultaneously displays 0-6ft on the inner ring of gold depth numbers, while the right side displays the bottom to the surface.
