We are heading up next Friday. Right now, we are planning on Nestor, but have heard that Caliper has some big crappies. Any opinions? We know what to expect at Nestor, but have never tried Caliper. Is it worth a try? What is the best way to get on the lake? Any areas that are worth trying on Caliper? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Caliper does have big crappies and big pike....I fished it 4-5 years ago before the big rains and flooding and did well...heard it went down hill after that.... I accessesd thru the supper club/bar on the left side of the lake as your heading north towards nestor falls I believe it is called Larsons
