mrmillelacs
I always had a problem jacking up my fish house because the jack would slide on the ice. I took the base off the jack, put three nut and bolts in the holes on the base and ground the ends of the bolts to a sharp point. This solved my problem
MnSportsman
That's a good idea. I do a similar thing with my handy-man jack, but instead of taking the base off them, I place them on a short 2x6 with a few nails/screws run thru it so the points stick out & into the ice/snow. ------------------Good Luck & Watch your bobber!MnSportsmanProud to be a member in good standing, of the "Church of the Divine Wilderness"! Guest
Those are great ideas...I'll have to try and remember them if I ever get the big house out! (good memory-just that it's short!)
