5" or 6" Lazer Hand Auger?

I already have a gas auger and I'm thinking about picking up a Lazer hand auger for early ice and don't know if I want a 5 or 6". I would appreciate any suggestions from anyone who has experience with either of these augers. Also, where can I get the best deal on a Lazer right now, any clearances going on yet?

Go with a 6". If your gas auger craps, at least you will have the capability to dig a hole that you can bring more than a panfish through!

go with the 6 inch. I have had one for a few years. Great cutting as long as you don't damage the Blades....Good size hole to about 18 inches ice depth. then if you are running your electronics, I cut another hole right next to the fishing hole for my transducer. it works good. After 18 inches, then it becomes your spare and take over with the 8 inch lazer power auger.
