Keep in mind I had not read a book since I was forced to in high school some 15 years ago until someone gave me a book called "Marley and Me." Its about a newly engaged couple who pick up a gigantic yellow lab puppy and it follows that dog through its life. The dog doesnt hunt, there's no hunting involved, but anyone who has ever owned a knuckleheaded male lab or any sporting dog, will smile following along with all the antics we know so well. I'm not sure what shocked me more, how great the book was or that I read a book crazy.gif

Same boat. Took me a while after high school before I started reading and now it is one of the most enjoyable things I do. I would highly recommend any thing written by "Gene Hill" he seems to know where I've been and where I am going and how I felt along the way. When he died I felt like I had lost a good friend plus knowing I'd never again read a new story written by him. Tink
