Bass Match: A new way to fish bass tournaments in 2007

Recommended Posts

We are currently looking for bass anglers for the 2007 season. As of right now we have divisions in Minnesota, Arizona and Tennessee. We are not limited to just these states. We can start a division in your state and near you. Our format is the perfect way to get into bass tournaments without paying large entry fees.

Here is how it works:

Once you join Bass Match we put you in a division close to where you live. You will be notified by email when the schedules have been set. You will then contact (telephone or email) your opponent and set up a time for your match. Things to discuss will be the time, date, and where your match will be held. You have to complete your match before the divisional tournament. Once you complete your match log on to www.bassmatch.com and fill out your match report. Contact your next pairing and set up your next match. You can also fish your matches any time before the divisional tournament. Once everyone in your division finishes their matches we will compile the points to see who will be invited to the State T.O.C.

The Fees:

The Fees are $100 for five matches, which is only $20 per match. The entry fees in your division stay in your division and are paid out after the division tournament. If you qualify for the state tournament the entry fee for the state tournament is $40 plus a $10 big bass pot option. Fees can be paid online via your Pay Pal account or by sending a check.

State or Division Directors:

We are also looking for State and Division Directors to help run divisions. State and Division Directors are able to fish in the matches for free and get an automatic invitation to their state tournament. Please contact us for more details on how to become a director in your area.

For all details and rules check us out at www.bassmatch.com or email your questions to us at [email protected] or [email protected]

Any more guys in the cities interested? We only need a couple of more guys to get that division up and going. The NW metro division is doing well, and we would like to have a few more guys from St. Cloud as well. smile.gif

It would be nice if you could get signed up before the 20th, since the dues are supposed to be sent to us by then. smile.gif We need to set up the schedule soon so we can get going. Last year, we had quite a few last minute folks sign up.

Hi Bobby,

We are going to set the matches as close as possible. It looks like we are going to make one big division for the metro, west metro and st. cloud. We have a few in each, so you should not have to go far.

Let me know if you have any more questions! smile.gif

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
