Cold tmps and Digital cameras?

Okay. Have had the D50 for three weeks. LOVE it. But now we come to the probable downside of these devices-temperature. I well recall the work of one of my old pals at the U. of AK working on F3HP and F4s etc. to modify them for the Arctic. Whats the deal now with digital. How cold? What precautions? I'm not taking any chances of condensation or ice crystals in this little computerized, plastic rascal!!

Ufatz, there was a thread couple weeks back that dealt with this. I stickied it so it'll stay on top of this board until warm weather hits.
