Newbie Help

Our family has been fishing for quiet sometime now, but nevr in the winter.

My youngest is bugging me to go icefishing.We just moved in to the area, we live in Northfield.

Is there a place around here, where we could try icefishing, witout having to buy all the gear? Maybe we can rent it? Preferably where we can get some help with the basics as well?

Guide Locator

Going out with a guide as a first-timer seems logical to me - they'll put you on fish, have the equipment you'll need (ask them when you contact them) and teach you a few tricks to boot. Catching fish, even if they're not keepers, is the best way to keep the young'ns interested.
