Just wondering if any Fmer's fish lake Gifford, its the lake off of highway 41 as your going either to or from Chaska to Shakopee. (The second bridge you cross going from Chaska to Shakopee, that body of water)?

Also named Deep Hole lake.Which is a funny name for it as its maximum depth is only 7 feet deep and located at the culvert.
Yes I have fished it from both shore and boat.
I have caught crappies,sunnies,white bass,walleye,pike,cats,gar,sheephead,carp,and bowfin in it.Except for some nice pike most fish have been on the small side.When the bite is good it can be nonstop action however.Good place to take the kids.I found the best time to fish it is when the river is rising and the water realy starts to blast thrugh the culvert.
