New to chasing flats? So am I!

Hi! Just started fishing for flatheads a couple weeks ago. I'm a shore-bound metro angler who goes out and chases them mainly on the weekends, usually hitting the river around 9-10pm and staying unitl 2-3am. Haven't caught my big one yet, but I'm a patient guy and the smaller flats and channel cats have been keeping me busy and interested. Got most of the basics down, but still in the process of updating my equipment. Got what I need to get by for now and will eventually expand into the heavier-duty stuff when finances allow. Anyways, just seeing if there are any other newbies out there who might wanna hook up this weekend and give it a try. Thinking saturday or sunday night, maybe both.
