Great catfish gurus, I'm in Fargo and I'm wondering about the timing of the catfish spawn here this year. I've spent very little time on the river since the spring walleye run finished so I'm not very up on what's shaking right now with the cats. Do you think the spawn will be over and the cats on the feed here in Fargo by second week in July-- July 5th-9th? Or... are things that far behind schedule and they won't be done spawning then?
Speak, oh toothless one!!!

Well that is a great question... up here the Cats are acting very odd.. they have went in to a spawn some what. The small cats are very abundant, the big ones are not eating. One now and then is caught but nothing like the normal. The snags are not producing cats like they should. Most fish are being caught up in the dam in the break water. Nothing in the fast water. The water temps are only 64-68* Still not warm enough for spawn? This has been going on for going on two weeks now... Very odd. Farther south the temps may be in the spawn temps..
