foods
ello,so i fish mostly pool 2 of the mississippi along with the minnesota and blue earth for flatheads and channels from shore. along with all of the other problems ive been having this year with the high water (5oz sinker wont hold the bait, caught another bag of dog poo at the dog park etc.) now i have the age old problem of everytime i check the bait or catch a fish the cotton wood seeds are clogging my line, reel spinners and everything else. does anyone have an effective way of removing it?thanks in advance,-foods
Lost
I wish I had an answer but I don't. I've dealt with that a lot this year. And it all seems to gather in the first eye on the rod, making it difficult for the line to go through. I've thought I'd snagged something in the water when, in fact, it was the cotton wood clogging the eye.

Lost
I actually have more luck removing it when it's dry. It breaks apart easier for me for some unknown reason.
