140LB Catfish

Has anyone seen this ??
I have a pic but have no way of posting it. It's an awesome looking fish. and surprisingly good looking for a cat !!

Oh well.. after searching for more info on the fish I found it's not actually from Lake Texoma. It is a HUGE 140# cat though.....presumably caught in France.
If you do a yahoo search for lake texoma record catfish you'll see the story with the pic under the urban legend site.

yep, the story surfaced a few months ago and went through some ridicule because of the picture being incorrect.

The catfish guide magazine has a pretty good article on the actual texas cat

According to In-Fisherman's Catfish Insider mag the record blue from Texoma was 121+ lbs and reported to be not yet fully mature.
