I plan on doing some ice fishing near kenai/soldotna around the middle of February. We will mostly be targeting Lakers in a very deep lake near Skilak lake, one guy told me the lake we will be fishing gets to 600 feet deep...do you have an idea of what depth to start at while looking for these beasts, and what type of baits to try? Thanks
