buzbunni
Just curious: Where does the Flathead fishing effectively end on the Minnesota and tributaries?------------------SERIOUSLY! It was THIS big!
Dennis Steele
Hey buzI have done well all the way to the NSP dam in Granite Falls. You can also catch them in the bigger streams that enter the MN River.I found a 20+ lb fish in a small creek 4 miles up stream from the main river.I was collecting bait and there she was sitting quietly stuck in a pool after the water levels dropped.I have never tried myself but I think Dark 30 and others have done well in the Blue Earth as well. That being said,I believe the better water is in the MN River itself, and rarley chase them more than a few hundred yards up creeks or the smaller rivers that enter the MN.------------------Minnesota River Guided Fishingwww.mnriverguidedfishing.com[email protected] NPAA #
buzbunni
Thanks Dennis.I'm looking forward to "bumping" into you on the river this year. As you may have surmised from his posts, the FishinLogician has purchased a boat; I am fortunate to be his neighbor and longtime buddy. We will be fishing....a lot! Most of my fishing experience has been with lakes, but I have the riverbug bad.We will be out on pool 2 this weekend. No, I don't have a job...yet.------------------SERIOUSLY! It was THIS big!
