New Cat fishermen

I find cat easier to clean than most fish.. Once you get that bone layout down you can clean them up fast and hardly no mess and no bones.. It would be hard to explain on here but it is quite easy.. First tip is to snip off the side spines and top spine... that way they will lay flat on your cleaning table or drill a hole in your cleaing board for the spine to go in.. that will hold the fish also..

Just remember dont cut through any bones.. just take the flesh above them. there is a bone right behind the gill... Find that and start there.. angle the blade up and forward from there.. work your way back and down along the ribs.. then just fleigh like normal. You will not have any bones or mess... If you gill your fish you are keeping there wont be any blood in the meat either... and they taste better too...

Happy fishing...Pray for summer..
