Transducer holder for Blue Box

Has anyone come up with a good solution to hold the transducer on the Blue Box while in transport. I generally set it behind the flasher, but am looking for some other options.

on the older blue box i have my FL-8 on I cut a section of caulk tube, about 2" in length. I screwed it to the blue box just behind the unt, Yet below the handle. I then had some topper gasket material laying around.

I cut a 2" square of that. It has a selve adhesive back on it. I placed it under the tube. So i just put the transducer in the tube, and it rests on the gasket pad. Which help prevent scratching up the transducer.

I put my transducer in one of the soft "can koozies" (not the thick foam ones, the neoprene ones) and it fits snug in the slot in front of the screen on the blue box. The koozie has protected it from scratches for several years.

I bought a piece of foam, 2" x 2" x 3" high and hollowed it out enough for the transducer to fit in. I only hallowed it out half way through. I then grabbed the goop glue and glued it right to the top of the battery. Grant it, when the battery dies for good I will have to make a new holder, but it's a very quick process.

As luck would have it, I was able to find a neo can cooler in the cupboard.
