Pickled fish -- how does the DNR count these??

I doubt that DNA can be extracted after a fish has been pickled.

What? Haven't you been watching CSI-Mille Lacs? They do it all the time!

Actually, pickled or still squirming the DNA is the same and testable.

As anglers, it is our responsibility to read the regulations. As Sportsmen or women, I feel it is our responsibility to follow the spirit of the law. If you have to ask yourself, "Can I keep this fish?" You are probably better off releasing it.

If you are talented enough to catch a limit of fish, chances are you won't get skunked the next time you go, so consider practicing selective harvest, or better yet, let 'em all go.

Of the upper midwest plain states, (ND, SD, IA, WI, Canada too), Minnesota experiences the greatest impact on its fisheries becuase of over-fishing pressure. The innocence of your uncle giving fish to the elderly is not an excuse. Your uncle should TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for his actions. mad.gif
