has anyone bought a pair of rubber boots with a lot of thinsulate. was wondering how well the work on the ice

i got a pair with 2000 grams. i wear them deer hunting ice fishing and snowmobiling. love themand if its really cold slap a bair of boot warmers on there and problem sloved. they are browning.

I got a pair of the LaCrosse camo rubber boots. I got the low insulated ones, however, because the way I figure it you can wear them in warm weather and your feet won't get all sweaty, and if the weather gets cold, just layer a couple socks. They're surprisingly comfortable, but i'll admit they can get a little cold in the toes standing in partially frozen water duck hunting.

They way I see it, I doubt they'd grip any more while walking on the ice, but they definately won't be worse.
