Using the Vex. FL-20

Does anyone have any experience using the new FL-20? I was thinking of upgrading my FL-18 to the FL-20 but I would like some feedback first. I know that the FL-20 is new, and it's early in the season, but any info would be helpfull.

Thanks

Heard Dave Genz speak a couple of weeks ago and people were asking him about the fl-20. In his opinion he said if you already have an 18 there was really no need to get a 20. He said except for a few bells and whistles and being able to zoom the bottom 12 also not much difference. That was just what he had to say.

I just used mine this weekend for the 1st time. I like it so far no problems. The only thing I noticed different from the FL-18 to the FL-20 is that my buddy with a Marcum Lx-3 is now the one who can’t get a clear screen from the interference. smile.gif

I have the fl-18 and love the auto zoom, my roomate just bought a fl-20 and i could not see any difference other than the flat screen which is nice if your outside and its snowing, i didnt see a bottom lock on the fl-20 however which is nice when the unit is in the boat. I however do not see that much of an improvement, it seems that it is just a makeover with a new look, still a nice product but is not getting me to switch over the the new fl-20. the fl-18 is still a quality product that does not stay home when i go fishing.
