Yeah, don't do it. I burned my bibs once and will not do it again. Also, from what i've seen here in my area (Lesueur co.)is that alot of the birds are only feeding at night, so sleep in and try to keep the ol'lady happy before icefishing starts! wink.gif

I agree with Guppie...not easy to keep the hands warm on these kind of days but a heater in a layout will just cause problems. I'd say fill your pockets with handwarmers.

I think I have nerve damage from this afternoon/evening because every keystroke I type leaves this weird tingling feeling in my fingers...tomorrow is only going to make it worse I fear.

They do make heated layout pads that you can put underneath you in the blind. They are about 4-5 feet long and I believe are powered by batteries. I will look into it and get back to you on where to find them. If I remember right they cost about $150, but I am told they are well worth it.
