I live in the anoka, coon rapids, blain area and was wondering if there was anyone out there that knows of a place I might cast a line for cats? I havn't done much catin in the past and went out yesterday by the CR dam with some junnies and a tubee 2000 and we caught 3 fish, all around 3 pounds. Was only out a couple of hours. Had a lot of fun and would like to do some more but don't know of any places around my area. Any help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks.

Peace Islands park, Manhoman park, mississippi river front park. These are in fridley.

Coon rapids dam. Mouth of the rum river. Mouth of the Mill pond creek. The crow river.

The list is endless. Get a good map book of MN. I believe gazatte makes a good one. Just start check parks, boat landings, Dead end roads. Any thing that comes near the river.
Finding the spots to fish is all part of the fishing.
