This is going to be our 50th year having the event and we've tried to add more prizes for the fisherman this year. The top 50 fish by weight will all receive a prize this year. Check out all the prizes at www.chaskafire.org and click on fishing contest. It looks like we are in a nice cold spell to put some ice on the pond to have the contest at the lake this year instead of at the fire hall. Check out our web site at www.chaskafire.org to see the list of prizes. It's a great time to bring the whole family out for the afternoon. fireman182 Posted January 26, 2007 Author Share Posted January 26, 2007 It is on fireman's lake, right on the northwest corner of Hwy. 41 and 212 behind Ohnsorg truck. The lake has been cleaned off in rows north to south. We are ready to have some fisherman come down and make it a great year again.
