Hi Countrykat, Welcome to the Catfish Channel!

I just picked up a new Gapen Far North cat rod/reel at the Sportshow but I would be interested in a good stick for my next reel. Its always nice to pick up a new rig avery year or two in March so you can sit and stare at it! Last year I picked up the new Penn 320 GT2 and put it on a used Berkley E-Cat...Beautiful thang!!

I'm thinking I'll go with an Abu Garcia 7000 and it might look real good on one of those top shelf rods on your site!...They look pretty sweet!

Guy these are some nice looking rods!I like the euro stlye handles on them.When the cats are just a little picky it will be nice to get a feel for whats happening on the end of the line.I am looking forward to using mine.He even put my name on it!

Dennis, once you guys get rid of all that ice up there, you will be amazed at the sensitivity of the CKat rod you got. It will definitely put more fish in your boat, and bottom line, thats why we go fishing to begin with.
