Cats in the Cannon River

I'm new to cat fishin. My buddy and I accidently hooked into one east of Cannon Falls on the Cannon River dunkin worms for trout and smallies. We are kickin around the idea of tryin some chicken liver later this week to see if there is anymore around. Wondering if this is a decent river to fish for cats? Thanks

I have never fished the Cannon but I think if there are some cats you will surely find them using chicken liver.Try the deeper holes with wood cover and don't over look spots below riffles or rapid areas.Cats are not affraid of a little current.Let us know how you do.
