fishinphilth
As posted on Foxs Sports (Contact Us Please) Liriano, who went 12-3 with a 2.16 ERA as a rookie, will have Tommy John surgery on Monday in California, the team said Friday. The ligament transplant procedure usually takes at least a year for recovery. "Liriano pitched only six innings over the final two months because of pain in his left elbow. With veteran Brad Radke expected to retire, the AL Central champions will need help to bolster their rotation." Silva better turn it around. buckpredator
Yeah I agree its not good for next year, but I think it will be better in the long run. With todays technology they should be able to fix Liriano up pretty good.
bassNspear
The best thing that the twins can do is give it time. they know that he will be back for the 2008 season. Its the best thing they can do is let the guy rest and make up for the time that he is going to miss in 2007. Dont rush the guy back like they did Kerry Wood, or he will never be the same. xedge2002
How about this for a pickup while the Franchise is out - Roger Clemens!!!!!! I would love to see it but don't think the twinks will spend the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get him. I can still dream though.
