anyone wright/sherburne co. area willing to give a new trapper a short lesson on fleshing coon?have done three so far.I am being very careful but am getting some roots showing thru,not alot but enough to make me nervous.

If your pelts are still blue they may not be prime yet. If thats the case you have to be real careful not to pull the roothairs through. Best advice is if they are still blue, wait another week and try another one. Not worth it to take a pelt that is not prime.
