A near miss

I have been up and down the Straight River the last few days looking for wood ducks with no luck at all. Yesterday I followed a trail, but I think I might have been on private property, and got to the river. I was too noisy though and startled a bird, which startled me, but I managed to point the camera at it and shoot as it flew away. Shame the camera was on the wrong settings with a shutter speed of 1/100.

Ahhh, the near miss. How many thousands of these have I tossed out over the last few years? Many!
