Just moved to the West Metro (Long Lake/Independence area) and am wondering about fishing on the Crow River - anywhere from Dayton on up. I love catfishing but also wonder about smallmouth and walleyes?
I don't mind wading or paddling. Just wondering if anyone's got any tips.......

The Crow upstream from Dayton has some huge Smallmouth and it should also have some nice Cats. I stick to the Mississippi where the Crow dumps in at Dayton, it's a lot deeper and I think it holds a lot more fish.
