Anyway, I bought a Canon 100-300mm for peanuts and it had just arrived and I was pointing it out the window and the next thing the bird appeared. So, considering these were shot through (less than sparkling) windows, I thought they turned out OK.

Nice shots again. THey seem pretty sharp shot through glass. You like the 100-300?

Thank you :-) I can't really complain about the lens but I ended up reselling it and trading my 135 f/2 for a 300 f/4 IS. I want to get decent shots of birds and the 100-300mm wouldn't work for me unless really stopped down.
