Looking for partner on Labor Day

I am looking for someone interetsed in hitting Tonka or Indy on Labor Day. I typically get there early (around 5:30) and plan on spending 6 hours or so on the water.

Doh! I really wish my fishing gear wasn't up in McGregor. I'd probably take you up on that offer.

Do you have any equip here? I hate to have you use all of mine but I could help out if you don't have everything.

Nah, that's alright man, all my stuff is up north. And I prefer to just use my gear. I would hate to be responsible if something happened to anything of yours.

That's one reason why I'm not going up north this weekend is because I'll need to stock up on some spinners before I go. Lost 2 of them to the bail closing and the line snapping, lost another to a huge northern which I didn't even get a chance to fight. Felt a huge tug on the pole, went to set the hook and then it was gone. Guess that's my luck for not using a steel leader.
