Haven't been down there fishing in years, but it used to be good when I lived there. Same standard pattern, deep holes near shallow flats are where you'll find them. In snags and fallen trees too. There are some good shore spots right down town. A boat gives you lots more options. The only drawback is so much water to cover, but if you look and talk to people you'll find the right spots. Biggest I saw was a 63lb. flat a friend caught, so the biggies are there.
