early goose near mille lacs

does anyone hunt the early goose season around mille lacs. i know that there are many wma's around but i havent found geese on any of them. i have only seen a couple small flocks on the big lake but those would be hard to shoot.

I dont know of many sucsefull spots around there tried some not so sucsesfull spots.well you know

we hunt a lake during the regular waterfowl season near mille lacs and see a ton of geese--at least we did on the day we hunted it last year. I'd imagine there are some good opportunities in the area if you have a decent setup and spot.
