When to nuter dog

Talk to your vet, normally they do it at less than a year of age and sometimes under 6 months of age. Time it with your training so you're not sending a recently fixed dog out for training.

Curious, what kind of training are you getting on such a young dog?

Go out and get the Game Dog or Water Dog book by Wolters and read thru the first part about obidience training. Its not that hard, if you commit to two 10 minute sessions per day you can do it yourself. Pups at that age are fun, I personally wouldn't miss that time by sending them off for two months on something that you could do yourself. Save your money and send them off for the advanced training early next year.
