It's that time of year again, sucker spearing! I'm looking for ways to use these fish. Smoking them is obviously the best but I don't have a smoker. I lost my recipe for pickling them. Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.

I don't know why the recipe below for pickled pike wouldn't work. I've had pickled suckers and carp and they're both very good.
