nitefisher
me and the wife went out for a drive today and ended up going around pelican lake by glenwood. when we were driving by this cabin we seen a young lady and her son i think sitting on the dock. but as we were driving by there was a heron on shore about 30 feet from the dock. well it got up and flew as we drove by. any guesses, well the heron flew right over them and you guessed it took a dump man when they go they go. it nail both of them good they were covered with it. i had this happen to me in the boat before and it wasn't funny, but man i never laughed so hard in my life this time i think it was because of there reation to what happened that was funny, because i know how it feels personally. man can they make a big mess when close to the target. rushing
Yeah I hear the splat on the river when they fly by. Always sounds like a "heavy load"!
Dan Thiem
Quote: man when they go they go. No doubt! Almost looks like a five gallon pail poured out of the sky. Too funny, and yet too bad.
CatManLee
Now that's funny!!!! It seems everytime I'm on the river here where I live, a Heron always takes off flying right in front of the boat and overhead...Next time I think I'll back off the throttle a bit and give it some room? Thanks for the warning!!! I have a lab that loves to ride on the bow of the boat and barks at everything remotely close to us...Boy would that be funny. "bark,bark,bark...splat!!!"
