Hi guys my wife and I are thinking of going to door county in mid september and I was wondering if anyone has any idea if the fishing is any good that time of the year there. Any info would be great!!

Thanks,

Scott

Around the middle of september the kings should just be getting started to enter the rivers and a few should be staging in the harbors and near the river mouths. I am no expert on lake michigan kings but I have heard that the 2 and 3 year old kings go pretty good this time of year and a few of those big bruisers will still be out in the lake at that time. Browns should be in by that time and steelies won't be far behind.

Good Luck!

I am heading to Sheboygan on Thursday the 17th for 4 day salmon fishing trip. This is my 5th year going. I have heard the landing has been extremly busy, with no where to park. In the past there has never been over 30 rigs in the lot when we are out there. Is this true and if so does anyone know if the city allows trailer parking on the streets across from the landing. I heard it has been great out there. Any reports would be great. We will be out there in a blue 17' Crestliner with riggers and will put planer boards out if fishing is slow. I think it gets a little scary out there in that small of boat, but my 2 friends in the boat just laugh at me when I ask if they think we should put on life jackets.
