MnSportsman
Here is one to try that is no mess & fast. It"'s a "dry-mix..Put a favorite coating that is finely ground[Fry-Krisp,Shorelunch,Biskquik,pancakeflour,etc.]in a ziplock bag. Then add some favorite seasonings if you like.[season salt/pepper/lemonpepper/onion and garlic powder, etc.] After that, putsome butter /margerine in a pan,or on a skillet. Heat it hot enough to cook ,butnot burn or smoke. Take your fillets dry them just a little on a towel, then placein bag. Shake & fry in the butter/margerine. This is fast & easy.Quik cleanup too. You can store the excess in the fridge fora week or two,if you run it thru a sifter to get any clumps or small pieces out. I'm sure most of you might have tried this, but I wanted to put it here for thosewho have never tried a "dry-mix"in butter before. This mix can also be taken on aoverniter, or for shore lunch. you just need to take a little "fatback" or margerinein another bag with you for the oil. 'Nuff said, Hope you try it if you haven't.
