Fun little trip

Sittin around the house tonight after work and thought, hey I got bullies, I'm going to go out for a couple of hours, and do a little scouting for the Cat League.

Hit the river and not too much longer found a nice sandbar.....with the lower unit

No harm, just didn't realize that bar came out that far. Fished a deep hole near some gravel, nothing doing, got snagged right before dark and decided to call it a night. On the way home I saw a spot that I just couldn't pass up. Oh, well I'll try it for 15 minutes.

5 minutes later......LOUD thump on the rod.......then nothing, no clicker, no load up. Hmmmm, wait a few minutes and pull on the rod to check for bullie. Fish On!

It must have just hit the thing and sat there with it.

Nothing huge, but not to bad for a couple of hours.

That makes 15 so far this year (of course that's counting the dinks)

Not bad for 15 minutes.Gotta just keep the bully in the water. It has to be nice being sooo close to the river.
