lookin4fish
I live in the Winona area, Pool 5, and am looking for ideas were to catch bullheads. i went to the backwaters and tried to find them by site in 3-4 feet of water with no luck. any ideas were they may be this time of year and how to get them? i am looking for catfish bait of course. Buying them from Everts is a little to far out of the way for me, so i was hoping to catch some on my own.thanks
mplspug
Small lake or pond with a creek flowing in or out. I actually find fishing where it flows out better than where a creek flows in. Fish right where the creek meets the lake.
troutmaster
go to the root river just before sunset and cast out with a worm, you should be able to catch 40-50 in an hour.
rockdog23
what part of the root? The root I know of is between Peterson and Houston, doesn't look like bullhead water there, could be wrong though.
