Humminbird Depthfinder pin layout

I have a humminbird depthfinder (Smartcast) and was wondering if anyone could help me with the connections on the back of the unit. The supplied cable plugs into the middle socket, but there is a 4-pin and a 7-pin socket that's not being used. I am looking for information on the pin layouts or additional connectors for those other sockets, since the current socket runs to the enclosed battery case and I'd like to wire it to an external battery, if possible.

Does anyone know were or what these other sockets are used for?

Id go to hummingbirds HSOforum..I found info I was looking for on their site

I tried their HSOforum, but not sure where to look. The manuals for the smartcast are very simple and dont contain this information. Does anyone else out there have a humminbird they wired in by themselves that uses a 4 or 7 pin connector?

I found some info on Humminbirds HSOforum pertaining to the installation instructions for the pirhana. The 7 pin connector is for a transducer and the 4 pin is for a thermometer. My guess is that the smartcast uses a prefab caseing and that the additional sockets are not being used.

man, let me know when you find some info i've also been looking the back is the same as a pitana so i'm not sure if they work might just be blanks
