LANESBORO ANNUAL FISHING DAYS

The Lanesboro State Fish Hatchery and Lanesboro Area Fisheries office will be hosting their annual fishing days on June 7 and 8. The events will be in Sylvan Park in Lanesboro and will run from approximately 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 is the angling day for physically challenged individuals and Thursday, June 8 is for senior citizens. Fishing rods, bait, fish cleaning, and angling assistance will be provided by DNR staff. These are very popular events and fun for both the anglers and the DNR staff. Volunteers are always needed and help is greatly appreciated. Contact the fish hatchery at (507) 467-3771 or the area fisheries office at (507) 467-2442 for more information.
