I was wondering how the fall fishing foe eyes and northerns is in Oct.? I thought maybe this year when I'am up deer hunting I would take the boat with and fish for a few days.Also,are there many motels and are they real busy this time of year? Do I need to make reservations early?

The motels can get pretty busy this time of year due to water fowl hunting in late Sept and Oct. So a reservation would be good. When I am there I like the comfort inn it is about the nicest place in town of course it is probably the most $$ as well. The Great American Inn and Suites is also nice. There is a super 8 and a Day Inn as well and then a couple of older local places. For food the best joint in town to eat is the Ranch Steakhouse or The View it is the Dining Room at the Casino.
