I opened my access doors on the back of my boat to get to batteries, bilge, oil res. etc, and found mold on everything. Plastic, rubber, cloth, fiberglass, carpet, everything. Inspected further tward the front of the boat, and found more in all of the compartments. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this, and how it happened.
I think that the seals on all of my hatches are verytight.
When I washed the boat last, I may not have let the boat dry out enough. With this little bit of moisture left, It may have created a mold problem?
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
