Achilli
Hello, first time poster, like the web site. My Father and I and 4 freinds are spending a week at Snake Falls Camp on Lake Packwash from May 27th to the 3rd, This will be the first time on this lake for us , we used to go to Cedar Point resort, and this year we decided to try something different, We were happy with Cedar Point and the fishing was great. Is there any tips or areas we should try, on Packwash during this time, lures or bait, any help would be greatly appreciated, my father has been going to Canada for 13 years and this is my 2nd ,I love it, it has renewed my interest in fishing which I share with my 11 year old son, and hope in a couple years to include him on our yearly trip. Also what species of fish should we expect, it was primaraly northern and walleye on cedar lake. Thanks Tony
Bubbadust
We fished on Pakwash Lake last year for a week over Memorial weekend, staying at Northwoods Bay Resort. We caught walleyes all day, every day. Most were caught on a lindy rig with nightcrawlers--very close to shore. When we got bored with that we trolled Shad Raps and did OK. I did catch the biggest walleye of the trip that way (27.25 inches). We did catch a few jumbo perch as well. We also fished northerns, with all but 1 being very small (under 25 inches). The largest norther went 35 inches.Good luck!
