Floor Installation

smoked perch

Question

hey. just picked up a 16' Lund, and am interested in putting in a casting platform in the front and back. basically was thinking running a supported "floor" from seat to seat, one in back, one in front. i am concerned about it being too tippy at the height of the seats. has anyone done this? any reccomendations?
thanks,
perch.

I would certainly think that it would definitely get way too tippy. Your best bet would be to get in touch with Steve Bakken at Bakken's Boat Shop. He is one of the best and he will be happy to steer you on the right path. Good luck with your project.

Thanks guys, but the pics in the links I sent aren't my boat or work. (Though I wish it were :-)) It is just a HSOforum I found that helped me along the way.

Smoked Perch, I have the info at home and will send it later this evening. Going Ski hunting after work here...
