First post! Just found this forum.

Anyone ever been to the French/Pickerel river up around Parry Sound, Ontario. I've been going up the last 5 years and have had some good fishing and some not so good fishing. Only caught pickerel the first year (trolling with rapala's) ... lots of pike and bass. I'd really like to concentrate on catching some more pickerel this year (heading up June 9). Think they'll still be shallow or should I grab the finder and look a bit deeper? Any tips? smile.gif

hEADING UP THIS YEAR FISHED IT BACK IN 2003 DID VERY WELL WITH WALLEY AND PIKE. jUST JIGGED WITH TWISTER TAILS AND FROZEN SHINERS. FIND CURRENT AND YOU'LL FIND FISH laugh.gif
