managed to get out for the first time this season on the Dark River and ended up with two 12" brookies and a couple more misses. Both fish were caught on size 10 prince nymphs since I didn't have any winter stoneflies along.

It was hard work getting through many of the brush areas, but it was worth it and great to be out wading again!

  This northern boy needs a little help with this one. Dried up kill hole in the duck timber? Quicksand that all the deer fell into? Cool lighting in a forest that’s so different from ours? I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it. Good luck.
