line counter reels

I plan on using planerboards for the first time this season and was wondering about line counter reels. Any one have any suggestions? Daiwa vs. Shakespere? I have an 8ft. TDR rod already, hoping to complete 2 setups.

I've used Daiwa 47LC for years on Lake Michigan, but for Dipseys, not planer boards. Daiwas are great. Easy reset button, not too bulky, or heavy. For Dipseys they are very helpful.

I guess I'd ask myself whether I actually needed a line counter for planer boards before spending the money.
