Adding the co-pilot will not add autopilot, tell him to keeo his eyes on the classifieds here (recent 65AP powerdrive listed for 350) or hsolist. Every once in a while there is a great deal there.

i work at an electronic assembly business and we build circut boards for minn-kota, johnson outdoors.

in fact i remember debuging a a board for the auto-pilot function just yesterday, so if they don't work you can all yell at me. ha
